and exquisitely peaceful, except for the
crashing surf. The minute we arrived our
children took one look at the turf-like

They were even more delighted when they

were comfortable and capacious. Before bed
we'd gather on the back porch and sip white
wine while the children hunted for frogs in
the moonlight. This is one of the few
places in the world where you can spend

lot of time at Poipu Beach. Shave ice and
Brenneckes bodysurfing were a big treat for
the kids. From the house we saw whales,

beautiful spot and warn climate. Returning
to Alaska will be a bit of an adjustment!"
